INN has been active for more than half a decade. I am very proud of this site that has taken so much work since the very beginning. Below I've written short summaries of the "years of innocence," highlighting important milestones in the site and big changes. I wanted to document the changes and developments before I forget them, ya know? I hope to continue updating and adding to this page in years to come.

Yes, this site has been open for two years. It may seem new to most of you because I really didn't advertise my site in 2000. Anyway, this was the year Innocence was created. I remember the webmistress of a great Sailor Mercury shrine wanted to give hers away because she just couldn't update anymore. So, I accepted her offer and "Amy Anderson's House" was born. Back then, I didn't know what HTML was or how to build a good site; I was still using Pagebuilder for all my other site, the Outer Senshi Place. I must admit, my site was sooooooo bad! It was a total rip off of Mizuno Ami's Corner. I tried to make it look that, but it never worked out that way. I even stole her layout pictures and everything. My gallery was just a jumble of big pictures and loading-time was never-ending. This was up for about 5 months until I decided to close down and rebuild next year.
2001
This was the year of reconstruction. I was still copying big name Sailor Mercury shrines - you know, stealing information, links, pictures, everything. No one really came to this site, and I can see why. I changed my name to Innocence and I made two layouts. By this time, I had learned some HTML and I could do some frames, so I used that technique to make a nice little layout. Sure, the picture was very distorted and loading-time was still atrocious, but I was still just beginning. It wouldn't be until 2002 that I would start making something good.
2002
I made about 4 layouts this year. I knew a lot more about HTML and I even had sites already open (windswept sea, thunder-lightning, etc.). I still had stolen information, but I credited them. My layouts got much better and my sense of color was improving, but I still wasn't popular. So, after my fifth layout, I closed down for a long time and did major renovations; I mean everything was completely changed. I reopened 3 weeks after that and I was beginning to get some hits. I finally got myself a counter and I even won a few awards here and there.
I have a problem with the word "shudders" this year. Now that it's been 12 months since that last post I put, a few things have happened. I got hosted for a little while and had this layout up that was very different from my usual; I still kinda liked it though. I finally got finished with my "frameless layout" in August and it turned out pretty nice. There were three: the main page, the Ami page, and the Mercury page. Later I did the entertainment page and was almost complete. After that, innocence was idle for the longest time. I kept promising people I would do this and do that but it never happened - that's what happens when you turn into a sophomore *sigh*. But still, I kinda managed to update a little here and there. A very unexpectedly idle year for innocence. On the plus side, though, I got 1480 Hits! Thanks everybody ^_^
2004
One layout, then absolutely nothing. I mean nothing!! Well, I did separate the pages into four different sections, but only the first three were ready. Other than that, I did nothing with this site at all. It was my junior year in high school and I was too busy getting ready for college and stuff to work on it. Plus, I had gotten a job at night, 20 hours a week so I was pooped! This is .:innocence:.'s death year -_-
2005
BIG '05! Five years baby!! And still kickin'! I've been revived from the dead and now working on finishing this site. Domain section is finally up and I'm working on add more entertainment and games. Ah, it's good to be back! Over 3000 hits!!, but the counter was reset :(. Inn got a lot more recognition this year: Site of the Month from DSM and affiliates and linkage from some very popular sites. I finally added the *new* site section and a new live-action mercury section to commemorate the series and the long-lasting musicals. This when Innocence moved to innocent-ami.com, my domain that I pay good $$ for. I really liked this anniversary year; very promising for the future ^_^.
Well, I moved servers towards the end of this year; Dreamhost is so much cheaper and more reliable than the GotWebsitehosting I had before. Here is where I began my "layout series" of villians and attacks. Some were good; most weren't, but that's just a part of learning. I also added an LJ to put my gfx on and connect with the visitors but it didn't work out too well. It was a good year - with many visits and feedback - but nothing too spectacular.
2007
Slow year. Since I was in college, updates had become quite infrequent and inconsistent. But I promised myself that I would try to add some things atleast every two months. I finally got around to adding a gallery page (after so many years without one) which is php-based. I also wanted to add more community-related things to the site. I advertised the Innocence LJ to attract users and visitors to converse with each other and I wanted to meet my visitors and get some of their suggestions; it's a very slow process. The biggest changes have been new layouts for the separate sections using much easier coding. They looked much better than their predecessors. I also scrapped the idea of the spanish-sister site; just took too much time translating everything. Hopefully I'll be able to bring that back later.
2008
A few minor updates and changes to the site but nothing huge. I finally added an on-site gallery for all the images I had. I'm trying to indicate where I got them from and what episode/arc they come from as well, but that - of course - is very difficult to pinpoint. All the new layouts were tweaked with even better coding (xhtml, php, etc.). I did a lot of editing of information: re-writing articles, correct some horribly inaccurate facts, fixing spelling/grammar errors (which I never, EVER do). Plans are in the way for the 10-year anniversary which will also celebrate my graduation from college! Yay! I also continued to "ataques" layouts. Counter restart: almost 9000 hits!!
